Beautiful place, if you have to go to San Jose, I strongly suggest the Bristol Hotel. The only reason four stars on rooms, was because the bed skirts needed pressing and all the lovely chandeliers needed sparkling up. But all in all it's a lovely hotel.

The location is great! Central, yet quiet. The service is very nice - from the front desk to the room cleaning service to the breakfast service. The room was a little tired and needs a face lift (but, the beds were comfy and everything was clean). I noticed work being done and am guessing that is happening.

Stayed for 5 nights recently in a short notice stop on our way back to Oregon when my wife had to be admitted to ICU at Good Samaritan. Location in regards to the hospital is a quick drive. I also needed a place that was pet friendly as we were traveling with our 2 dogs. I knew once I walked into the lobby that I was going to enjoy the stay and, it did not disappoint. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating considering I had an unknown schedule. Interior entry to all the rooms, carpet throughout. This made for a quiet stay. Other than an occasional door closing, I didn't hear any other guests while in the room and I'm usually pretty sensitive to that. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable for me, but I know that can be different for everyone. There was a Nespresso machine and a refrigerator in my room. Breakfast was decent with a couple warm items, waffle maker, breads, cereals, yogurt and fruit bar, muffins and a fruit or two. The dining area has plenty of room and I varied my times in the morning and I never saw more than a few people at any given time even though the hotel was busy. Parking is a one entry/exit lot with several spots under cover. The concrete fencing around the perimeter has no gaps or space so fairly secure for an open lot. All in all, I would definitely stay at the Bristol Hotel again any time I'm in San Jose. I just feel bad my wife didn't get to enjoy it too... Good reason to return :)

I’ve stayed here three times this year when traveling for work. The staff is kind and helpful (and they even went to great lengths to accommodate me despite a booking error that I made.) The beds are like sumptuous clouds - comfortable & immaculate. The bathrooms are sparkling and very spacious. I love the charm of the old fashioned decor - chandeliers, statues, paintings. I look forward to stepping into the Bristol after a long business trip day and finding 2 chocolate mints on my nightstand. The complimentary breakfast is consistently delicious and plentiful with eggs, a meat option, waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, cereal and excellent coffee! And the in-room Nespresso is a treat. Look no further!

Great location in San Jose! Gilbert and Raul have great customer service and made my check in/check out very easy. Both were very personable, and friendly. The hotel itself has many unique decorations, noticeable light fixtures and statues throughout the hotel. It's a quiet and convenient place that always has parking. I started here for my trip to San Jose, San Francisco, a trip to Stanford, and a concert in Saratoga. Highly recommend.

LOVED the Bristol Hotel! It's not your average cookie cutter hotel in Silicon Valley. It's a boutique hotel in the European style. It's full of beautiful marble statues and crystal chandeliers, antique furnishings in the very large rooms and Italian marble bathrooms that are so huge you could live in them! The rooms are huge and have foyers, living space, and as I said HUGE marble bathrooms. The free breakfast is amazing with pancakes, waffles, omelets, fruit, cereal and much more. Staff was very nice. Parking is free. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The price for a King room was just over $100.00, though prices vary at different times. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

I recently stayed at the Bristol Hotel in Campbell, CA and was absolutely blown away by the beauty and elegance of the property. The rooms are designed in a French style that makes you feel like you're staying in a palace. The free breakfast provided was also top-notch and added to the overall experience. One of the things that stood out to me was the lights at the entrance of the hotel - they were so catchy and added to the luxurious feel of the place. It truly felt like a special experience from the moment I arrived. Overall, I would highly recommend the Bristol Hotel to anyone looking for a unique and upscale place to stay. It's definitely worth the money and is a must-visit if you're in the area. I can't wait to come back and experience it all over again.
